Soft, silicone rings that effortlessly roll and snap onto the lens mounting groove to protect our sensor and shutter from dust and moisture. It can be moved onto the lens body with your fingertips to change lenses.

Using your camera without protecting that groove invites dust and debris to collect in the "gutter" created where lens meets camera. Removing a lens dislodges that debris to potentially fall into your camera body. ShutterBands significantly reduces that risk. Install a ShutterBand on each of your lenses so they are ready to use.

Included in the ShutterBands Enhancement Kit, and available to order separately here in a 2-pack (6 rings total).

Designed for use on Sony E-Mount cameras.

Also work for Sony A-Mount.

I am not sure if that is a mirrorless only problem, but the sensor becoming dirty is a really common thing nowadays. I suspect most of the dirt cannot come from the pure lens changes itself, so the gutter in between the mount and the lens is probably the root. These bands perfectly close that gap. BTW they also fit on the older A-Mount (just slightly bigger in size, they also close the gap here).

Ordering ShutterBands was easy. Delivery was prompt. The bands work as advertised, fitting snugly in the grove between lenses and camera bodies, keeping out dust and deflecting raindrops.

I put these on my A9 with my 24-105 and it was drizzling pretty hard. I noticed that they really protect connecting junction between the lens and body and they look cool.
